*GUIDELINE REGARDING IELTS*

-> You can attempt anytime (even in housejob or pre housejob )

–> validity is for 2 years

–> Result declares in 2 weeks after test

–> Test Fee is around 30k

–> you can prepare test at home, No need to join any institutes , even if you are looking for one i would suggest PACANS)

–> criteria for PLAB , 7.5 Bands avg and not less than 7 in any of 4 segments described below) Make sure you appear for the ACADEMIC version of IELTS for PLAB.

*TEST TYPES:

1. SIMPLE ACADEMIC IELTS

2. UKVI IELTS

3. AEO IELTS 1 & 2 are by british council and 3rd is australian , AEO is relatively easy to clear (no strict criteria for marking) UKVI is smart choice because you apply for exam and visa in one go.

* TEST COMPONENTS:

1.SPEAKING

2.LISTENING

3.READING

4.WRITITNG

–> Speaking will be on different day and other 3 components on same day

–> In listening & reading there will be 40 questions and 1 hour for each .

–> In listening they will play an audio cd and you will be given sheets on which some conversation,seminar talk,road map guide or anything like that will be given, Questions will be in form of fill in the blanks, match the appropriate, or multiple choice type questions And you will be required to answer these 40 que in one go!

–> In reading, there will be 3 passages and 40 questions in total and 40 questions , including True,False,Yes,No,Not given , fill in the blanks, flow charts, match the followings, give headings , etc and you will be required to put all the answers on answer sheet in the mean time just like we filled mcqs in mbbs pprs.

–>In writing , There will be 2 tasks in 1 hour. Task will be small and it will be like explaining some diagram for example , bar chart,pie chart,flow chart,graph,table etc In task 2 you will be given a statement and you have to justify or explain according to command.its better of you give 20 mins to task 1 and rest of the time to task 2. but there is no official time limit for any task.

–> For speaking there will be 3 parts overall 15-20 mins for testin part 1 you will have a general introduction with examiner and some general que in part 2 they will give you 1 topic and keypoints to cover , you will be given 1 min to prepare for topic and in next 2 mins you gotta speak and speak annnnd speak ..in part 3 there will be some discussion que relevant to topic check out sample videos on youtube.

MATERIAL:–> CAMBRIDGE Books from LEVEL 1-12 (its not compulsory to do all of these) This will make everything clear for reading and listening. there are attached CDs for listening practice.

–> For marks criteria and practice for writing task 1 & 2 MUST LOOK INTO ^IELTS TASK 1 & 2 BUDDY” its online file , can get from me directly.

–> Video by Liz on youtube will make everything else clear about your difficulties in preps .

–> Others things which you can do is BARRONS books for practice or videos by samson

*TIME DURATION: 1-2 months prep is all what you need TAG YOUR FELLOWS ! AND IF YOU SEE ANY MISTAKES IN POST KINDLY CORRECT !
